Setup, Wix requirements and what still needs review – before you start.
In your Wix dashboard, open Settings → Custom Code and add your allyWay snippet to the Head on all pages. Follow the loading settings supplied with your snippet, then check your published website. Do not paste it into an HTML embed element: that runs inside an iframe and cannot adjust the surrounding Wix page.
Your Wix site must be published, have a connected domain and use a paid plan that supports Custom Code. You also need permission to manage these settings. Check Wix’s current plan features before starting; allyWay does not unlock features excluded from your Wix subscription.
The snippet loads asynchronously and does not block your pages from rendering. Scans run on allyWay’s side. Check your website’s performance after installation, especially if you already use several external scripts.
allyWay works on published pages where its snippet loads. Review menus, forms, blog posts and product pages after installation. External iframe content cannot be adjusted by the surrounding page’s snippet. Do not assume Wix checkout, payment screens or embedded booking services are covered; test the complete purchase and booking journeys separately.
Yes. allyWay is made in Europe and processes data in line with the GDPR. The widget does not set tracking cookies on your visitors' devices.
